About us...
The Jesus Peace Family Ministries (JPFM) emphasizes having Jesus Christ at the center of the family life. TJPM is a Catholic-based ministry that invites you to spend more time learning about our Christian Faith. The rewards are eternal!
JPFM is focused on deepening everyone’s relationship with our Lord and Savior through Bible study, prayer, song, audio and video teaching. To know our Lord is to love our Lord—just as you would fall in love with anyone who gives you wisdom, joy and peace. But of course, with Jesus you also get to receive Eternal Life! For His Holy Spirit lives in all those who believe and follow Him as their Lord and Savior...
Our Goal:
To reach "non-Believers..."
So they can learn about Jesus and realize Eternal Salvation in God's Kingdom can only be obtained through God's only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:17). Otherwise, you are relying solely on the Mercy of God to let you into His Kingdom and that's sort of like flying "stand-by" at the airport. It's not a happy feeling wondering if you're getting on the plane, or not.
To inspire "nominal Believers..."
So they can be led into a deeper fellowship with God through Jesus as their Lord and Master. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Tim. 2:5).
If we commit to following the way of Christ each and every day, he will teach us how to love and serve each other just as he first loved and served us (1 John 4:19). We will then know how to build happy, caring and lasting relationships that will make us worthy to be called the sons and daughters of God
(1 John 1-11).
Think about it. If we are all going to live in heaven together that means we all have to learn how to get along like one big happy family. That means we all have to have something (or someone, like Jesus!) in common.
The purpose of this life is to prepare ourselves for the next life. The Master came to show us how to do this. If we surrender all of our will to living according to his will, our lives will be changed forever! That was his promise. The more we draw near to him, the more he will draw near to us (James 4:8). And the Master never breaks his promises (Luke 11:5-13). Besides, who wouldn't want to follow a leader like Jesus? (see, "That's My King!")
To fortify "firm Believers..."
Those who experienced a "spiritual baptism" (not to be confused with being born-again through water baptism) when they committed all of their heart, mind, and soul to living their life according to God's Authority, and not their own.
The firm Believer knows the Holy Spirit of Christ lives in them and hearing the Word of God is "food for their soul." They consider all things meaningless compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing and serving our Lord (Philippians 3:8).
